Lukey is 5!

Dear Lukey,

Today you are 5! FIVE! How on earth did that happen? I have been dreaming back to the day we met you and how much LOVE you have brought to our family. You are the SWEETEST boy ever and make everyone you meet feel so wonderful and adored. This past year you BLOOMED into YOU. The little boy who always followed in his big bros foot steps has emerged into his own big personality. It became clearer to us this year that you have a gift for art and have an incredibly creative mind. You will turn anything mundane into a piece of art and have the ability to create play out of nothing.

Your favourite colour is pink and you are very confident in this favourite even when your big brother tells you thats a girls colour. You love playing Christmas and dress up as Santa on a regular basis…beard, belly and all. You love the outdoors and collecting nature. Each time we head out on a walk you pick a few treasures and always tell us that you will paint it when you get home. You are our sensitive boy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Tears come easily for you and baby do you ever take after your mama! To say that we are proud of you would be an understatement. We are HONOURED to be your parents and help guide you throughout life to be your best self. Your preschool teacher took mommy aside one day and told me that she loves having you in her class. That you are a calming, kind addition to the classroom and that you are so soooo sweet. I told her that we hit the lottery jackpot with you.

Baby boy, you wished for snow again this year for your birthday and I am so happy Mother nature listened! Cant wait to build a snowman and celebrate our Amazing little Lukey Dukey!! Happy Birthday Love Bug! Love to more then all the stars in the universe!
